Lockyer of England is thrilled to announce new partnerships with Nicholas Brawer in New York and De Jong Interieur in Eindhoven. These two interior specialists have a reputation for stocking the finest antique and artistic pieces and will help to introduce Lockyer to the US and European markets.
Nicholas Brawer, situated on Madison Avenue in New York City, opened his current gallery in 2008. Nicholas selects pieces of the most impeccable quality, specialising in industrial antiques and sporting works of art. His pieces have been acquired by some of the world’s leading architects, designers and private collectors and grace some of the finest private homes, jets, and yachts around the world. In an interview with The New York Times, he describes his criteria as “provenance, condition and presence — each piece must be the best of its type.”
De Jong Interieur, based on De Blecourtstraat in Eindhoven, cater for the luxury interior market with a focus on high-end alpine restaurants and hotels. The owners travel throughout Europe looking for interesting or surprising items to delight and inspire their clients. “When customers visit our gallery they never know what they’re going to see. One day it may be a white lion or an antique bar filled with exotic butterflies, another time it’s a giant polar bear.”
Lockyer of England’s Managing Director, George Champ, said; “These two partnerships are fantastic news for Lockyer. We are thrilled to be working with such renowned and respected companies and we are excited to be expanding into both the United States and mainland Europe. We believe this will be the beginning of two long-lasting and successful relationships.”
Both Nicholas Brawer and De Jong Interieur are now stocking Lockyer of England provenance pieces in their galleries and they will be listing Lockyers online in the very near future.
